The March on Quel’Danas — Raid Guide

The March on Quel’Danas is the climactic raid instance of the Midnight expansion — a tightly tuned, two-boss gauntlet on the Isle of Quel’Danas. Both encounters lean hard on raid coordination, so this guide walks through what each fight asks of your team.

The instance runs two bosses back to back: Belo’ren and Midnight Falls (L’ura).

Belo’ren

Belo’ren is a demanding multi-phase encounter built around opposing Light and Void energy mechanics. The whole fight is a test of how cleanly the raid can read and react together.

Key mechanics:

  • Eruption — Match the correct color and interrupt the corresponding Phoenix. Miss it and the raid wipes.
  • Orb Walls — Players on alternating teams clear lanes for one another so the orbs don’t bounce lethally. Coordination between the two groups is everything here.
  • Guardian’s Edict — Manage Light, Void, and Dual soaks in a precise sequence. Get the order wrong and the boss picks up massive damage buffs.
  • Eternal Burns — Affected targets take heavy damage-over-time. Healers need to focus burst healing on them to keep those players up.

Midnight Falls (L’ura)

Midnight Falls is a three-phase fight with a short intermission. It rewards flawless positioning and disciplined add control.

  • Phase One — the Memory Game: The boss displays five symbols in order. Five random players each receive a symbol and must line up around the boss in that clockwise sequence to survive the sweeping laser. Tanks taunt swap at five stacks of Heaven’s Lance.
  • Intermission: A Safeguard Prism spawns and shields the boss. Spam interrupts, dispels, and spellsteals to strip the adds’ buffs.
  • Phase Two: Manage the Midnight Crystals and the two yellow Dust Crystals. Assign ranged DPS to heal the Dust Crystals to full so they transform — this grants the extra action buttons the raid will need for the final phase.
  • Phase Three: When L’ura casts Dark Archangel, the crystal holders use their extra action button to throw up a protective bubble over the entire raid.

To master the memory game and survive the healing checks in the final phase:
