Greetings, members and family!

As Guild Master, I want to share my vision for the future of Ancestral Arcanum. Our community has seen incredible growth recently. Current recruiting process is working beautifully, and player activity is stabilizing. As we look ahead, our overall top priorities are moving toward player retention and raid progression.

To build a stronger, more engaged community, we are rolling out a few exciting updates regarding guild ranks, content streaming, and a brand-new media project.

🚀 Optimizing the Player Funnel & Rank Promotions

Our new player funnel begins with a targeted invitation emphasizing our raid-focused community. Moving forward, all new recruits will be directed to register right here on ancestralarcanum.com.

To streamline our roster, we are implementing a new automated rank advancement system:

• Blizzard ID Integration: Signing into our website with your Blizzard ID allows us to seamlessly match website users with in-game characters. Connect your account in game options and you will also be able to use the guild chat while off game.
• Automatic Promotions: Guild officers will use the Guild Paragon addon to mark users as “registered,” which will trigger automatic promotions.
• Earned Seniority: Active users who consistently participate will be rewarded with seniority and leadership roles. However, simply showing up to raids or hanging out in Discord will no longer automatically result in a leadership promotion. Website activity will also factor into our decision to promote someone into an officer role. This ensures we reward our most dedicated members without putting an unfair burden on casual players.

⚔️ Boosting Raid Progression

To step up our game, we will actively focus on inviting strong players from our Mythic+ dungeon runs and PuG raids. Providing more avenues to team up and complete content is my number one priority. Recruitment is open to all members and above, so be sure to invite that awesome player that was in your random group!

Our guild forums are the perfect place to submit your feedback and look for a steady team with the same schedule as your own.

🎥 Streaming Rules Update

We love seeing our members show off our community! We have re-evaluated our streaming guidelines and want to continue encouraging YouTube channels that put a positive spotlight on the guild.

• Discord Link Embedding: If you want permission to embed links to your content in our Discord server, please deposit 25K gold into the guild bank, and an officer will update your permissions.
• Server Boosting: The automatic server booster role will also provide you link embedding permission as well as other perks.
