Welcome to our official preparation hub for the Curse of Ula’tek content update and the launch of Midnight Season 2! This patch introduces sweeping foundational changes to player durability, world events, and interface tools.
Please review our updated guild expectations, system overviews, and class breakdowns below to ensure our raid team and Mythic+ groups are fully prepared for kickoff.
📌 Core Guild Expectations & Requirements
To ensure smooth progression runs, all active raiders must meet the following baseline requirements before entering group content:
- Raider.io Addon: Must be installed and actively updated to keep track of character progression.
- Deadly Boss Mods (DBM): Mandatory for all group content to ensure mechanic awareness and pull alerts.
- Full Gear Optimization: Every available gear slot must be fully slotted with gems before raid night begins.
- Weekly Transformation Catalyst/Forge: Do not forget to utilize the Catalyst every week to systematically convert eligible gear pieces into tier set pieces.
👹 World Bosses Evolve into “Lairs”
World bosses are getting a significant format upgrade and will no longer be fought in the open world.
- Instanced Encounters: World bosses are moving into specific instanced locations called Lairs.
- Flexible Mythic Difficulty: These encounters feature scaling difficulty explicitly built for flexible group sizes of 15 to 25 players.
- Summoning Stones: Each Lair operates similarly to a Delve and features an external summoning stone to assist with grouping.
🗓️ Season 2 Mythic+ Schedule & Rotation

🛡️ Tank & Healer Balance Highlights
Blizzard has increased max-level player health and enemy damage by 25% across the board. This change aims to make spike damage smoother and healing throughput more satisfying to manage.
Tank Specializations
- Blood Death Knight: Heavy baseline rotational buffs (Heart Strike +25%, Marrowrend +50%). Dancing Rune Weapon’s parry bonus is increased to 30%.
- Vengeance Demon Hunter: Fracture and Soul Cleave now strictly require appropriate melee weapons equipped. Sigil of Chains is now a baseline spell (level 35) with its cooldown reduced to 60 seconds.
- Guardian Druid: Gory Fur and the Wild Guardian apex talent have been completely redesigned to incentivize balanced Rage spending.
- Brewmaster Monk: Celestial Brew and Celestial Infusion absorb values have been boosted by 150%, but their baseline cooldowns are now doubled (+100%).
- Protection Paladin: Word of Glory can no longer critically strike, but its healing scales with crit chance and overhealing converts into an absorb shield. Judgment (+51%), Consecration (+100%), and Shield of the Righteous (+150%) received massive baseline damage increases.
- Protection Warrior: Revenge free procs can now trigger from successful auto-attacks in addition to dodges/parries. Bloodborne now boosts all bleed damage uniformly.
Healer Specializations
- Restoration Druid: Innervate now regenerates 25% max mana over 8 seconds instead of making spells free. Abundance has been reworked to grant a 50% mana discount and 50% crit chance on Regrowth when 5+ Rejuvenations are active.
- Preservation Evoker: Dream Breath instant healing is cut by 50%, but its periodic healing-over-time component has been increased by 118%.
- Holy Paladin: Received a massive 19% flat aura buff to all healing spells, alongside direct throughput shifts to Word of Glory, Holy Shock, and Eternal Flame.
- Discipline Priest: Penance no longer applies Atonement when cast on an ally to eliminate combat targeting friction. Overall baseline healing and absorption are increased by 10%.
- Holy Priest: Received a baseline 16% aura buff to all healing spells. Divine Hymn now actively grants the Guardian Spirit defensive effect to the Priest while channeling.
- Restoration Shaman: Riptide direct healing is up 25%, and periodic healing is up 100%. Healing Rain now operates on a fixed 12-second cooldown and 18-second duration to allow higher positioning flexibility.
💬 Guild Communication & UI Overhauls
Battle.net to Discord Account Linking
We can now link our Battle.net accounts directly to Discord. This allows cross-platform chat communication, meaning you can type in our Discord server and talk directly to users active in the in-game guild channel. This will be our primary tool for filling last-minute group slots!
Cooldown Manager & New Ping Commands
- Mana & Resource Pings: Healers can now click-ping their own unit frames to instantly broadcast their current mana percentages to the party chat—no more needing to type “OOM” before boss pulls.
- Spell & Item Status: You can now ping your active action bars, trinkets, combat potions, health pots, and the Cooldown Manager to display real-time availability using visual chat bubbles.
- Clean Raid Frames: Healers can now manually configure or entirely hide specific buffs on Raid Frames to maximize screen real estate for essential tracking.
